Whether in room temperature environment or high temperature conditions, PPS exhibits strong chemical resistance to a wide range of chemicals such as strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents, and oils. Below 200℃, no solvent can dissolve PPS. However, it may deteriorate in strong acids with strong acidifying properties such as concentrated nitric acid. In addition, concentrated hydrochloric acid can reduce the bonding between glass fibers and PPS resin, thereby decreasing mechanical strength.
